Christmas Gift Idea: Best Bite Set

Monday, December 2, 2013

With the holiday season finally here, everyone is in a Christmas planning frenzy. Lucky for us, companies are thinking ahead to make gift hauling a little easier. Bite Beauty is a brand I originally found because of Tiffany D on YouTube. She raved about their lipstick in the color Fig, a very natural pink. I tried it and loved it, not only the color but also the texture. Their lip products are not drying at all and that is something I struggle with with most lipsticks. I am also a huge fan of lip pencils in general, like the Nars Satin lip pencils and the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains (the Revlon ones are holy grail status, I own like 5 colors...)There is something so easy about a swipe and go lip product. This season, a perfect gift for any beauty lover would be the Bite Beauty Best Bite Set. This super cute tin (with a bonus mirror) holds 4 deluxe lip pencils (nude, dark pink, hot pink, and a limited edition red/cranberry color). What I love most is the price: for just $25 you can create 4 very different looks (full size Bite lip pencils retail for $24). This set would be perfect for someone who is just venturing into lip products. One last thing, Bite products are made with all natural ingredients and are promoted for the products being technically edible. Not that you should eat it, but it is a nice bonus for those trying to focus on more natural beauty products.

Of course, today I picked the hot pink...The texture is very satin-like and they are very pigmented (which usually translates to long wear). Take your time applying the bright colors as they can make a mess if you aren't careful. I can't wait to try the other colors. If you would like more info, you can find the kit here at Sephora

Are you buying gifts for any beauty lovers?
