Josie Maran Watercolor Cheek Gelee

Friday, October 25, 2013

If you are a natural beauty lover, Josie Maran needs to be your girl (or brand rather). Josie herself is a model and claims she learned so much about beauty being a model, that she wanted to start her own line. Most recently released from her makeup line is this product: the Josie Maran Watercolor Cheek Gelee and I have never seen anything quite like it. It is a cheek gel that stains the cheeks. This product is a strange texture, almost squishy and wet (there is really no way to describe it). The best way to apply is with the Real Techniques Stippling Brush (last mentioned in my Drugstore Heroes post). Just tap the stippling brush in the product lightly then blend away. This is seriously long wearing. Probably the most long wearing of all my blushes (and I have a lot...haha). The color I picked up is called Poppy Paradise.

This product will run you $22 from Sephora, which is not too bad considering you need only a tiny bit. The staying power of these alone is why I will pick up another one. I'm pretty sure I need the berry color. ;)

In other news, I have been loving my Mac Constructivist Paint Pot lately. I break this baby out every fall. I am wearing it in the above picture.

Are you interested in trying this product? Let me know if you do and love it the way I do!

  2. Thanks! Yeah I am obsessed! I need the berry color for fall. They just last so much longer than all my other cheek products.
